Biodriven Service has been dedicated to providing Used Cooking Oil and Grease Recycling services to the greater San Diego community since 2007.
Initially, we focused almost exclusively on the North County area including the cities of Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Cardiff, Rancho Santa Fe, Leucadia, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, and Escondido. We chose deliberately to focus on this service area because we believed it was crucial to not overextend ourselves in the early years. Why? Because service matters!
Now in our 5th year of continuous operation, we are expanding our service area but NOT compromising on our commitment to be the best at what we do.
Availability – When you need it most
When someone says that “they will be available to serve you” during times of need, what does that really mean? Is it answering the phone at 11 pm and sending out a truck promptly to clean up a spill before the city issues a fine? Certainly that is one example of excellent customer service.
To give a little history, Biodriven (and sister company Fryman Refrigeration) has been in the service industry for nearly two decades. In the refrigeration industry, we came to understand that sometimes “tomorrow” just isn’t good enough. The food doesn’t wait to spoil, and likewise in the oil industry the city does not always give you a day to clean up oil and grease spills before issuing a citation.
With DECADES of top notch service experience we don’t believe that responding to your emergency is a favor, we believe it is a primary component of the job that we do.
Timely Service – How it impacts your Customer Experience
Do you want a loud pumper truck pumping out your Oil and Grease during the lunch and dinner rush? Of course not. So why do so many of our competitors continually do so? Well, that’s a question for them.
For our part, we can only promise to work diligently with you to ensure that we do not schedule service calls during hours of peak business. This is just another way that Biodriven can make a difference in your customer’s experience.

Believe it or not, we do “customize” our service to meet your needs. Some clients have space restrictions while others have theft and vandalism problems. Regardless of your need, we have a solution.

First off, all of our containers are extremely theft resistant. In fact, in our quest to design an impenetrable oil recycling container we were so successful that we ended up patenting the design and licensing it to other service providers. Honestly, this stuff matters. Oil and Grease have value to thieves, and as such failing to protect your recyclables invites unscrupulous persons to frequent your facility to steal your oil. While this may not seem like a big deal at first, these people do not have your best interests (or the best interests of the environment) at heart.
Over time, thieves will make messes that can lead to costly fines from the city. In fact, some of the worst offenders are other oil recycling companies. Believe it or not, some companies will send people out to make messes before sending in their sales people who will claim to be the “solution” to your problems.
